What does a Vog Art lesson from Mr. V look like?
Mr. V will arrive at your home at the agreed upon time with everything needed to guide your child through an art exploration inside or outside your home. Art lessons will consist of
75 minutes of art making, movement, and fun. Students will explore new and exciting art mediums, learn an appreciation for art history, release energy, learn to socialize, create beautiful art that they feel proud of, and learn positive outlets to express themselves. Our traveling art lessons are personalized to fit the needs and interests of your child.
What can I expect to see at one of Mr. V's Vog Art lessons?
You will see your child engaged in many fine-motor movements such as folding, gluing, cutting, sketching, painting, weaving, sculpting, and lots of smiling.
Our signature Make and Move teaching style keeps students engaged in their art lesson through movement and music. Based on over 12 years of experience working with elementary students, these lessons are specifically designed to prolong your child's ability to concentrate and increase their artistic stamina. Students will be exposed to a variety of mediums including painting, sculpting, printmaking, collaging, drawing, and weaving.
What is required for me to host a Make and Move art lesson?
Chances are your home is already perfect and ready for a Vog Art lesson. It is recommended that our lessons take place in a quiet environment with access to running water and a table to sit at, but none of these are required. A table or portable easels to work on and fresh water can be arranged if discussed in advance.
